Rightsizing housing survey launched

The Minister for Housing and Communities, Deputy Russell Labey, has launched a survey to further understand the future needs of homeowners in Jersey.  The online questionnaire focusses on “right sizing” and how the Government can help Islanders to live in homes that are the right size for their needs.

The need for homes to enable right sizing was also highlighted in feedback to the draft Bridging Island Plan consultation, and the Minister for Housing and Communities intends to work with the Minister for the Environment to ensure an element of right sizing accommodation can be provided on new housing developments in the Island.

The survey is available on www.gov.je/rightsizing until 14 March 2022. Islanders without access to the internet or needing help to complete the survey can also call 01534 444 444 (select option 6).
